Registration Time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Location: Public Boat Ramp – Picnic Area (777 West River Rd, Vermilion OH 44089)

Parking: Limited to one (1) vehicle per craft

 

Race Start Time: 1:00 p.m. sharp

Race Start Location: Picnic Area at the Public Boat Ramp

Race Finish Location: Water Works Public Docks

 

Entry Fee: FREE to participate

 

All participants must sign an Entry Waiver prior to the event.

Awards Ceremony

 

Awards will be presented on the Main Stage at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Winners must be present to claim their awards.

Rules

  • All crafts must be homemade. (No pre-fabricated boats, row boats, canoes, etc.)
  • Crafts may not be motorized or mechanically powered.
  • Crafts may not exceed seven (7) feet in height.
  • All crewmembers must wear U.S. Coast Guard-approved life preservers at all times. Failure to comply will result in automatic disqualification.
  • All crewmembers must remain on their own craft at all times.
  • All crewmembers must sign a Voluntary Release Form.
  • Crewmembers are responsible for launching and removing their craft from the water. Crafts left in the Boat Ramp dumpster will result in disqualification.
  • All crafts must be off the river by 2:30 p.m.
