Description

The High Frequency Flute Quartet continues the FSO Around Town tour at Harbourtown Fine Arts Center at 3rd Thursdays in Vermilion! The highly talented ensemble is comprised of current and past members of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra. The members of the quartet own and perform on all the voices of the flute (piccolo, C flute, alto, Eb flute, and bass) giving the ensemble a rich texture and multifaceted color. The repertoire ranges from classic to contemporary, with samples of opera, dance and world music. Whether a flute player or not, all will enjoy the beautiful variety performed by this ensemble.
