Hope for a New World Offerings of Light & Love Orchestra Concert with Guest Artist Sterling Elliot, cello Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. Sandusky High School Auditorium (Sandusky, OH) BUY TICKETS: https://www.firelandssymphony.com/tickets or call 419.621.4800 ________________________________________ The first classical concert of the season offers a range of music highlighting light and happiness to curb the mid-winter blues, including Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”. The full orchestra will be joined by guest artist Sterling Elliot, winner of the Senior Division of the 2019 National Sphinx Competition. This gifted cellist will perform Saint-Saëns’ Havanaise, and Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody. Together, we will go through a beautiful musical expedition of discovery, enlightenment, and hope for the future. PRINCIPAL BENEFACTOR: Randolph J. & Estelle M. As part of its plan, the FSO announces its mandatory COVID vaccination and mask policy which requires the following: GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF FULL COVID-19 VACCINATION AT EVERY EVENT: Touchless verification using the CLEAR App OR show original vaccination card or photocopy/photograph of it, AND a valid driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID. Full vaccination must be completed at least two weeks prior to the performance date. CHILDREN AND UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS: Must present documentation of a negative PCR COVID test AND a matching photo I.D. at EVERY event. Test must have been completed within 72 hours prior to the performance date. EVERY GUEST IS REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING: Coverings are to be worn at all times & in all areas of the venue, including during the performance. Coverings must be worn properly, covering the nose and mouth. Neck gaiters and bandanas are NOT permitted. There will be no refunds for noncompliance of these policies.
