WELCOME TO THE WILDEST WAVE OF THE SUMMER! 
This year, the Vermilion Festival of the Fish is going full throttle with our totally tubular theme:
“Fishing in the 80s – Big Hair & Mullet Mania!”
So tease that hair sky-high, break out the neon spandex, and prepare for a righteous weekend of fish, flair, and fabulous royal fun!
On behalf of the Festival and our rockin’ 2024 Queen, Brogin Curtis, we are totally stoked to invite your Queen and her court to our annual Festival Breakfast Bash — a morning of music, memories, and maple syrup!
WHERE: German’s Villa – 3330 Liberty Avenue, just a half-mile east of Vermilion on Lake Rd. (Rt. 6)
WHEN: Sunday, June 15th, 9:00 AM sharp — don’t be late or you’ll miss the bacon (and the beat)!
THE LINEUP:
We’re talking a full-on breakfast spread worthy of backstage legends: juicy fruits, ice-cold OJ, sizzling sausage and bacon, fluffy eggs, sweet French toast, pastries that melt in your mouth, and beverages to keep your engine running all day long.
Admission Details:
- OFEA Queens – You’re our VIPs and eat FREE (with your chaperone, of course).
- Non-OFEA Queens, Chaperones, Court Members, and Guests – $18.00 per rockin’ seat at the table.
Reservation and parade entry forms are included and must be returned by June 5, 2025 to reserve your spot on this breakfast tour!
POST-BRUNCH PARADE PREP:
Once you’ve fueled up, the Vermilion Police will escort all Queens and their floats or parade rides as a united glam squad from German’s Villa to the parade lineup at 11:30 AM. (You will have time to decorate your floats/vehicles at line-up).
THE MAIN EVENT:
The parade kicks off at 12:30 PM, and it’s your moment to shine! Bring your floats, convertibles, and T-tops — but no rooftop riding or candy tossing, please. Safety’s always in style.
CENTER STAGE GLORY:
After the parade, visiting Queens are invited to step into the spotlight at the Main Stage, introduce themselves like the rock royalty they are, and enjoy all the festival’s booths, beats, and bubbly 80s energy.
AND DON’T MISS THE PAGEANT!
Join us for the Festival of the Fish Pageant on Friday, June 13th, 2025 from 12pm to 3 PM on the Main Street Stage. The girls are planning a show so fierce it might just bring back cassette tapes. Reserved seating is available — call to save your seat before they vanish faster than a mixtape in a Walkman.

On behalf of the Vermilion Festival of the Fish and our 2023 Queen, Kelsey Lehky, we would like to extend a warm invitation to your Queen and court to join us for our annual Festival Breakfast. The breakfast will be held at 9:00 am on Sunday June 16th at Germans Villa, 3330 Liberty Avenue (one-half mile East of Vermilion on Lake Rd. or Rt. 6).
Immediately following the brunch. The Vermilion Police will escort the Queens in their parade cars or floats as a group from German's Villa to the parade area at 11:30 am.
The parade starts at 12:30 pm. Breakfast as always will include a wonderful array of fruits, juices, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, pastries and beverages. Your OFEA Queen joins us for free if accompanied by a chaperone. NON-OFEA QUEEN, all chaperones, court members and guest are welcome to join us at a cost of $18.00. Reservation forms and parade entry forms are enclosed. These forms along with money for each additional guest must be received by June 13, 2024.
As usual, parade entries may include floats, convertibles or T-tops. Riding on the roof or hood of a car will not be permitted nor will throwing candy. The Festival of the Fish has been a hometown tradition for many years. Please join us and be a part of this special celebration. Visiting Queens are invited to introduce themselves at the Main Stage following the parade and enjoy the festival booths and entertainment. For those who would like to attend, our pageant will be held Friday, June 14th, 2023 from 11-1 pm on the Main Street Stage.
