Festival of the Fish Food Vendor

Description
The 2024 Festival of the Fish will be held Friday June 14th thru Sunday June 16th. We wish to extend our invitation to you as a food vendor for this wonderful event.
When the contract has been submitted it will be reviewed, once approved your invoice will be emailed to you for either payment online, or you may mail in your payment via check payable to the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce 5495 Liberty Ave, Vermilion, OH 44089.
The Committee reserves the right to refuse vendors selling anything that they feel does not fit within the family friendly festival atmosphere.
PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST CLICK PAY BY INVOICE AS WE DO NOT WANT PAYMENT UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED. THIS COULD TAKE ONE TO TWO WEEKS.
Spots are available on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS, (After March 31st) so get your contracts in early. Food Vendors if you pay in full March 31, 2024 you can get the Early Bird Discount of 7.5%. To guarantee previous years space and to secure the discounted rate IF paid in full by March 31st. NO EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT IF NOT PAID IN FULL BY MARCH 31ST 2024. All spots are assigned by the Festival Committee. Half Rental Fee Deposit must be paid within 2 weeks of approval and invoice sent, with the balance due before June 1, 2024, Money Orders Only after June 1st. NO money will be accepted at the Festival without prior arrangements made with the Festival Committee. Expectation is that all monies due be paid in advance. IF YOU CANCEL YOU FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT.
FESTIVAL GOES ON RAIN OR SHINE!! THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS! CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, MONEY ORDER, PERSONAL CHECK, or CREDIT CARD. PERSONAL CHECKS MUST BE RECEIVED BY June 1, 2024. ANY CHECK RETURNED WILL BE CHARGED A $35.00 SERVICE FEE.
Please Note: Everyone must have someone working their booth at all times during festival hours:
Festival Hours are as follows:
- FRIDAY NOON TO 11PM
- SATURDAY NOON to 11PM
- SUNDAY NOON to 3 PM
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FESTIVAL WILL END AT 3PM ON SUNDAY BUT NO VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED INTO FESTIVAL GROUNDS UNTIL AFTER 4PM!!! THIS GIVES AMPLE TIME FOR FESTIVAL GOERS TO PURCHASE FOOD AND CRAFTS PRIOR TO LEAVING FESTIVAL GROUNDS!!! ANYONE WHO TRIES TO BRING IN A VEHICLE BEFORE ITS SAFE AFTER 4PM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN TO FESTIVAL AS VENDOR.

One Contract per concession/unit. (Limit of 4 menu items per concession. $25 charge per menu item over 4 menu items)
NO DRY ERASE BOARDS!
All unapproved menu items must be covered up on concession trailer!
Additional Electric Needs: Electrical usage charge shall apply to any and all units who need more than 4 total hookups. The charge will be $20 per hook-up/Extension Cord (Which must be 3 prong #12 minimum gauge). (This includes stock trucks, pop machines, campers, air conditioners, freezers, ice machines, ice trucks or chests, etc.) Ex: if you plug in 5 extension cords you will be charged $20 for the extra plug in. They will be marked and tagged by an electrician, if your cord has not been paid for it will not be plugged in to electricity. PLEASE NOTE ELECTRICIANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO HOOK UP YOUR ELECTRIC IF YOU HAVE NOT FOLLOWED ALL ELECTRIC RULES OR IF THEY SUSPECT YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF AN ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE, OR IF YOU ARE IMPAIRED IN ANYWAY VIA LEGAL SUBSTANCE.
Mobile Food License both sides must accompany your contract. Certificate of Liability Insurance showing dates of coverage shall be furnished with application of contract. The Festival of the Fish Committee shall not assume any responsibility for this coverage.
We, the lessee, hereby agree with the Festival Committee, its successors and assigns, to be responsible for and to indemnify and save harmless the said Festival of the Fish Committee against all expenses. Any obligations incurred and including all liability claims by reason of all or any accidents, injuries, damages or sickness that may occur during operation of this agreement and all fines, penalties, and loss incurred for or by reason of the violation of any city, county, state or federal law, ordinance, regulation or rule, which may arise or grow out of the occupancy of said premises by the lessee, or out of any act of the lessee, lessee’s employees, agents, or licensees.
