Today is a day filled with pride here in Vermilion. As we celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday and the eve of Veterans Day, we’re honored to recognize Mike Lazusky, a proud Marine, Vermilion High School graduate, and longtime Vermilion Chamber of Commerce member.

Mike is the owner of Cleveland Cutting Board & Furniture Co., which specializes in handcrafted cutting boards, custom furniture, and one-of-a-kind wood creations. His work has been featured on New Day Cleveland, Channel 3, Channel 19 and American Pickers, earning him recognition far beyond our hometown.

He is also the owner of the newly opened Harbourtown Hall at 995 State Street, a stunning space that showcases his craftsmanship and serves as a vibrant venue for weddings, birthdays, parties, fundraisers, and community events, beginning with the Holiday Maker Market on Saturday, November 22nd from 10AM–4PM.

Mike’s generosity and community spirit shine through in everything he does. He’s known for giving back to countless local causes and always stepping up to support Vermilion with pride, passion, and that unmistakable Marine spirit.
